A Different Drug, a Different Self-Portrait

These are self portraits of a person who is using some rather dangerous drugs. Some are legal pharmaceuticals and some are illegal street drugs.

"Everyday I took a different drug and drew myself under the influence. Within weeks I became lethargic and suffered mild brain damage. I am still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of time. I only take drugs that are given to me. This series is on my facebook as well and is much more up to date, here there are quite a few missing."

Best Burning Man Photos

Last year we published pictures from the Burning Man Festival 2009, this time we propose you to take a look at a big selection of the best shots from this festival through out the years.

For those who don’t know what this festival is about: Burning Man is an eight-day annual event held in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada, in the United States. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy on Saturday evening. The event is described by many participants as an experiment in community, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance.

Art theme for 2010 is "Metropolis: The Life of Cities" and 51,454 people participated in Burning Man this year.

Here are some interesting photos from this event.
